Sheffield Accountable Health Partnership in association with Sheffield CCG and Peak Health Coaching have developed a 1-day online course in Health & Wellbeing coaching, which can be undertaken at either Foundation or Intermediate level.
Health and Wellbeing Coaching enables people to gain the knowledge, skills, tools and confidence to become active participants in their care so that they can reach their own goals.
Who are these course suitable for?
These courses are suitable for colleagues who work in Primary Care, including allied health professionals, practice nurses, HCAs, GPs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, Link Workers, Social Prescribers and community care colleagues. They are free to colleagues who work in Sheffield (paid for by Sheffield CCG) and charged at £25 per person for colleagues outside of Sheffield.
What will participants be expected to do?
Participants will be expected to complete a pre course questionnaire to establish current levels of awareness about coaching approaches and what they would most value from the day. They will also be asked to undertake suggested pre reading including current documents concerning coaching in the personalised care agenda and to gain the commitment of their Line Manager/Supervisor to attend.
